The approach

We aim to make this website clear and usable for as many people as possible, with readable content, familiar navigation and support for different devices and access needs.

Using the site

• Pages have descriptive headings, familiar navigation and a skip link at the start of the page.
• Navigation, questions and the enquiry form can be used with a keyboard. Focus is visibly highlighted. Press Escape to close an open mobile menu.
• Text can be enlarged using browser controls, and the layout adjusts to narrow screens.
• Movement respects your device’s reduced-motion setting. High-contrast and forced-colour preferences are supported.
• The form has visible labels and a linked error summary. It also supports ordinary HTML submission when JavaScript is unavailable.
• Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology. There is no autoplay media, drag-only interaction or visually demanding CAPTCHA.

If something does not work

If a page or control is difficult to use, please tell us. We will review the issue and help you access the information or discuss your enquiry in another way.

Very large submissions are rejected before the server reads them. If this happens with JavaScript disabled, use the browser’s Back button to return to your original text.

Report a difficulty

Please use the contact form to tell us what you were trying to do, which page caused difficulty and, if you know, your browser or assistive technology. There is no need to include personal medical information.
